70 miles east of South Falls, South Dakota and 15 miles south of Worthington Minnesota, Ocheyedan has easy access to Interstate-90. Located at the junction of Iowa Hwy 9 and county L-58, Ocheyedan is the home to the highest geographical point in the state of Iowa, the Ocheyedan Mound. Ocheyedan's agricultural economy centers around Corn, Soy Beans, Cattle and Hog production. A friendly community with traditional family values, it is a good place to raise a family.
